Who am I?

Welcome! I’m Annaliz Barbieri (she/her), LMFT, and I bring 12 years of clinical practice and two decades of professional experience serving children and families in a variety of settings, including educational and recreational programs, schools, Regional Centers, faith-based and community organizations. I am part of the Latinx community and offer therapeutic services in English and Spanish. I was raised in the South Bay and feel connected to the diverse communities that make up the South Bay Area. In my free time, you will find me walking in nature, practicing yoga, or socializing with friends and family.

Therapeutic Approach 

My therapeutic approach is humanistic and collaborative. I utilize evidence-based modalities to help you achieve your goals, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. I also incorporate therapeutic interventions from prior trainings in the Oaklander Model, Synergistic Play therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Collaborative and Proactive Solutions Model (CPS), PPP Parenting Program, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. My hope is to assist individuals develop their authenticity, gain tools to overcome their challenges and increase their satisfaction in life.
