About Spiritual counseling

  • Form of counseling that accesses individual belief systems to use that faith to pinpoint areas of

conflict and treat a person’s mind, body, and soul

  • Adds a sense of comfortability for those that prefer faith-based therapy because their religion

plays a large role in their lifestyle

  • Integrates talk therapy methods with Christian practices to aid in navigating both spiritual

concerns and everyday struggles

  • Not meant to force religion on those that are questioning their faith or to convert followers of

other religions to Christianity as every individual is fully able and welcomed to believe in what

they feel is right

  • Clients are free to determine when they are ready to introduce their faith during a therapy

session and do not necessarily need to mention it every
